The Survivair Cougar's silicone facepiece provides unsurpassed comfort and excellent sealing characteristics for virtually all facial configurations. The low profile second stage regulator attaches to the facepiece in any orientation easily and quickly. And the enhanced Mighty-Light® backpack offers a stable, secure fit, with hinged hip wings and a fabric tank band with a spring-loaded catch for quick cylinder changes.

Requirements for Hydrostatic Testing of SCBA Cylinders:
Steel cylinders should be tested every five years and have an indefinite service life until they fail a hydro test. Aluminum cylinders (not including hoop-wrapped) should be tested every five years and have an indefinite service life until they fail a hydro test. Hoop-wrapped cylinders should be tested every three years and have a 15-year service Fully wrapped fiberglass cylinders should be tested every three years and have a 15-year service life. Fully wrapped Kevlar® cylinders should be tested every three years and have a 15-year service life Full wrapped carbon fiber cylinders should be tested every five eyars and have a 15-year service life
